Job Description The API Portal team is responsible for Sabre’s developer portal (beta.developer.sabre.com) which contains technical documentation and resources for over 500 APIs. The Drupal-based portal is a custom-built content management system, housing swagger schema, XML schema, WSDLs, workflows, release notes, how-to guides, live call capability, and much more. Beta.developer.sabre.com is used by internal and external developers, including Sabre customers and prospective customers. Responsibilities Designing, developing and testing front-end and back-end applications Providing tools and solutions to automate and accelerate technical writers work Work with solution management, customer support, technical writers, user experience teams, product teams and delivery teams to facilitate the design of quality APIs Resolving customer complaints with software and responding to suggestions for improvements and enhancements Assisting in development of software technical documentation Providing technical guidance to other team members Job Requirements Ability to work on both the front-end and the back-end portion of the application Experience with programming in JavaScript, PHP and Drupal Experience with front-end & back-end testing and testing automation tools (PHP Unit, Behat, BackStopJS) Experience with branching strategies (GIT, SVN, other SCM tools) Clear understanding of various delivery pipeline approaches (CI/CD) and tools (Jenkins, TeamCity) Excellent English verbal and written skills Additional assets: Experience with containerization-based technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift Experience using cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform Basic Java programming skills Understanding of Web Services, XSLT, SOAP, REST and JSON Knowledge of Maven and the Maven build process Why it is worth working with us?
